We live in probably the most distracted and distracting society in history. How do today’s marketers continue to provide value in such a crowded and complicated marketplace?

Rob Malcolm has been a student, practitioner, consultant and teacher—successfully applying all aspects of marketing in the US and internationally. Following completion of his Bachelor’s and MBA in Marketing from the University of Southern California, Rob joined Procter and Gamble in Brand Management in 1975. In his 24 years with them, he held various positions in marketing and general management, working on more than 75 brands in 40 countries.

As always, the Marketing Jam is not only a great opportunity to learn but also to network with marketing professionals from different industries and businesses across Central Texas.

This year’s event will be held at Speakeasy in the heart of Downtown Austin on Thursday, June 16. The program will begin at 6 p.m. with a private meet-and-greet with the speaker panel for AMA volunteers, followed by the full panel discussion from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Attendees will receive a drink ticket and admission to Speakeasy’s live music, bowling and rooftop lounge. In addition to hosting, Speakeasy will also sponsor and give away tickets to future shows.

The 2016 AMA Marketing Jam will also be sponsored by Chameleon Cold-Brew, Austin’s original consciously-crafted cold-brew coffee. Chameleon Cold Brew selects beans from Central and South America, tailor roasts them locally, and brews them low and slow, Austin-style, for more than 16 hours in cold, purified Hill Country water to create a smooth, naturally low-acid coffee with an extra-caffeinated kick.
