Max's Wine Dive
The Marketing Executive Panel’s mission is to foster an environment of collaboration, professional support and continuous education for the marketing communications professionals of the greater Austin, Texas area. On a quarterly basis, the Austin AMA will hold members only evening events featuring a set of the top marketing executives in a moderated question and answer (Q&A) format. Three or four panelists will be guided through a pre-selected and pre-communicated marketing-related topic with questions and discussions coming from the audience and managed by the moderator. The discussion level will be set for established marketing professionals with the dialogue intended to take a deeper dive than the more general high-level discussion featured at the monthly power luncheons.

Terry holds a master’s from Louisiana State University and a bachelor’s from Penn State University, both in Industrial Engineering.
Speaker #3: John Ellet, CEO, nFusion
John Ellett has a passion for encouraging and supporting marketing leaders who have the courage to be change agents in their organizations. As CEO of nFusion, a digital-centric marketing agency based in Austin, Texas, John has had the privilege of helping some of the country’s leading marketers revitalize their brands, transform their digital presence and accelerate their sales including American General, AB/InBev, Chili’s, Comerica Bank, Samsung and Toshiba. With personal experience as a marketing leader during the early days of the IBM PC and the rapid-growth years of Dell, he provides a unique perspective that has made him a trusted advisor to marketing executives around the country.

He is a founding board member and past chair of The First Tee of Greater Austin and the founder and chair of Austin Helps Honduras. Event Moderator: Chris Schorre
As VP of Global Marketing, Chris manages overall brand vision, voice and consistency for Emergo Group, a medical device regulatory consultancy based in Austin with offices worldwide. With 22 years of experience in B2B marketing, he understands the importance of data in making tactical and strategic decisions. But with reams of digital data at our finger tips, how do you chop, slice and dice it to make sense of it all? Like so many marketers, Chris has been faced with a tsunami of data and is painfully aware of the challenges “information overload” presents. He’ll share some of his thoughts while guiding our panelist discussion.
