David Lee, Concierge Auctions
David Lee graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Architecture & Urban Studies. At first, one might not correlate the study of architecture with UI/UX, but David has taken his lessons in the field and evolved them to designing for the digital world — overseeing not only the planning (research), drafting (designing), construction (building and coding), but also user behaviors and analytics for further development. David’s prior work experience includes working for Afoundria, a Health IT company in Austin, TX; HotSchedules, an international scheduling company for the hospitality industry; and Concierge Auctions, a luxury real estate auction company based out of New York. During his free time, David enjoys golfing, hanging out with his beagle — Molly, and working on updating his online portfolio.
Matthew Eng, IBM Design
Matt Eng is a Product Designer for IBM. He researches, designs and tests software that is helping his company reposition itself in the Cloud market. In the past, he has contributed to the offerings of companies such as Polycom, Symantec and Silicon Labs. During his off hours, he teaches and mentors students who want to break into the industry at Austin Community College.
Annette Priest, Revel Insight
Annette Priest helps teams make the most of UX – reducing efforts, increasing profits and delighting more customers. Annette removes roadblocks to winning UX with pragmatic solutions and strategies — including building in-house UX programs and processes.
Annette’s actionable customer research and approach to design have made a difference at top organizations including GE, IBM and more. From Fortune 50 to start-ups, clients value her broad industry experience in mobile, media, security, finance, healthcare and travel. Her work has been featured in Info World and National Geographic Traveler.
Annette hates jet lag but splits her time between Austin and London anyway.

Jed Jones, Ph.D. is co-founder and chief data scientist at MindEcology, a data-driven, full-service advertising firm in Austin, Texas. He has worked in the field of marketing for 20 years and possesses advanced knowledge in customer segmentation, data mining, and interactive/online marketing.
