With an exciting 2009 just beginning, I am proud to announce the start of the AMA Austin Chapter’s first-ever blog. This blog has been on our list of goals for the last six months, and we’ve worked hard to set it up in a way that will be informative and helpful to you, our readers.

Our aim is to continue to be the premier Marketing Association in Austin, and with the ever changing Marketing landscape, we feel it’s imperative to keep up with the most modern Marketing trends and tools to best serve you.

In the upcoming months, you’ll discover a list of local and national guest posts on our blog. We’ve got quite an impressive line up of experts that will be discussing what’s hot and what’s not in 2009.

Now more than ever, online marketing, social networking and tools such as blogs are becoming ever present and important staples of the Marketing landscape in Austin and around the world.

We hope that you’ll engage in a conversation with us this year, and let us know what’s important to you by posting comments and questions for our bloggers.

As technology continues to advance, we have the opportunity to build more global networks and engage in more personal ways to touch one another’s lives on a daily basis. Let us know what is happening in the realm of Marketing in your world – we invite you to connect with us.

We look forward to getting to know and serve you better through the upcoming year. Here’s to a prosperous 2009!
