Senior Director of Marketing, H-E-B
Rob Pennington joined H-E-B in 2021. As Senior Director of Marketing for H-E-B, Pennington is responsible for driving awareness and sales of H-E-B’s wide range of products, services, commitments and partnerships. Pennington has led out on a number of wide reaching initiatives for H-E-B, including establishing H-E-B sustainability commitment through innovative channels, launching their first sustainability brand, and elevating H-E-B’s community involvement. In addition to his leadership on sustainability, Pennington oversees H-E-B’s community marketing efforts, wide reaching sports marketing & sponsorship portfolio, price & promotion perception, and broader total company marketing strategies.
Prior to H-E-B, Pennington served at the Senior Brand and Creative Director as Favor. As an early team member, Pennington has left his mark across the organization -- ranging from Tuxedo Tees to to the iconic Favor Blue. Over the course of his career, Pennington has become a leader in brand development, digital and physical representation, and the marketing strategy that connects it all.
Originally from Vermont, Rob has spent time in New York City and now, over 20 years in Austin. In his early career in Texas, Rob worked with a number of Austin-based agencies to develop key Austin brands.

Aaron Rayner is an accomplished marketing professional currently serving as the Director of Marketing at Mensor LP, based in San Marcos, TX — a subsidiary of the international WIKA Group, located in Klingemberg, Germany. With a proven track record in B2B marketing and content strategy, Aaron has led his team to multiple industry accolades, most recently the 2024 American Marketing Association San Antonio Award of Excellence, the 2024 Gold Muse Award, and the 2024 Hermes Platinum Creative Award. His expertise spans various aspects of marketing, from campaign management and email marketing to video production and strategic development. Aaron is actively involved in the American Marketing Association, currently serving as VP of Membership for the San Antonio chapter and the Advisory Board for the Austin chapter. His career highlights include successful projects such as the Petra Channels video series and innovative marketing systems like "FROG", Vision For Life's "Conquer the Dream" — a gamified membership engagement campaign, and the national "Don't Be a Cabbage-head" campaign for Ramsey Industries.
